                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING
                   OF SOUTH CREST ROAD, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 17, 1991,
                   FROM 7:30 A.M. UNTIL 9:30 A.M. FOR THE
                   MISSIONARY RIDGE ROAD RACE SPONSORED BY THE
                   CHATTANOOGA TRACK CLUB UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
         the temporary closing of South Crest Road from Firehall No. 11
         to East Crest Road (south leg) on Saturday, August 17, 1991 
from
         7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for the presentation of the 
Missionary
         Ridge Road Race under the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Track
         Club provided that the sponsor shall install and remove
         barricades, road closed and detour signs in accordance with the 

         traffic control plan attached hereto and provide at all times 
an
         access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
